Important: the ultrasound we use in physiotherapy is a functional assessment, not a medical diagnosis. It helps us treat you better, but it doesn't replace a specialist doctor's assessment when your case requires it. If we detect something that needs medical investigation, we'll tell you and refer you.

Honestly: ultrasound is very useful for soft tissue, but it doesn't see everything.
