Meet your physiotherapist in Águilas

I am a registered physiotherapist and the founder of Clínica MuVi in Águilas. I opened my own clinic with one clear idea: to give every patient the time their case needs and to support them beyond the session. I set aside 45 to 60 minutes per person, I explain what we are going to do and why, and you always leave with an exercise plan to keep progressing at home.
My approach combines sports and orthopaedic physiotherapy with advanced techniques such as invasive physiotherapy, percutaneous neuromodulation, INDIBA and musculoskeletal ultrasound. I treat people who come from the gym with overload injuries, athletes who want to get back to competing, and people who have been carrying a pain that never quite goes away. If your case only needs a few sessions, I will tell you. If you would be better off with another professional, I will tell you that too.
- A registered physiotherapist for every treatmentEvery technique, including invasive ones, is applied by a registered professional.
- One physiotherapist from assessment to dischargeYour case does not change hands at every session.
- 45–60 minute sessions, one patient at a timeNo rushing and no treating several people at once.
- Always an exercise planWith clear criteria for when to progress and when to hold back.
Specialities: sports physiotherapy, invasive physiotherapy, neuromodulation, INDIBA, ultrasound, return to play and home visits.

What people ask us most
Where can I find a physiotherapy clinic in Águilas?
Clínica MuVi is at Calle José María Pereda 8, 30880 Águilas (Murcia), right in the centre and close to the seafront. We are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 20:00 without a lunch break. You can book online, on WhatsApp at 614 966 298 or by phone.
When should I see a sports physiotherapist?
It is worth coming when pain appears during or after training, after an injury, when discomfort limits your performance, or when you want to prepare your return to sport after time off. An early assessment helps stop the injury becoming chronic.
What is percutaneous neuromodulation?
It is an invasive physiotherapy technique that applies a controlled electrical current through a needle to the nerve or muscle. It is used for chronic tendinopathies, low back pain and neuromuscular dysfunction to reduce pain and improve function.
What is INDIBA used for in physiotherapy?
INDIBA is 448 kHz radiofrequency diathermy that increases local microcirculation, modulates inflammation and reduces pain. It is used as a complement in tendinopathies, post-surgery recovery and muscle injuries, always as part of a wider plan.
Do you offer home physiotherapy in Águilas?
Yes. We make home visits in Águilas and nearby towns for people with reduced mobility, post-surgery patients or anyone who prefers to be treated in their own surroundings. We bring the equipment we need and apply the same method as in the clinic.
Do you treat sports injuries?
Yes, it is one of our specialities. We treat muscle tears, sprains, tendinopathies, overload injuries and post-surgery recovery, and we include a specific return-to-play programme before you compete again.
Can I book on WhatsApp?
Yes, you can message us on WhatsApp at 614 966 298 and we reply the same day. You can also book online 24/7 from this website or call the same number.
Does invasive physiotherapy hurt?
Dry needling and neuromodulation can cause brief, momentary discomfort while the technique is applied. Afterwards there is usually a feeling similar to post-exercise soreness for 24–48 hours. It is a safe technique when applied by a registered physiotherapist with specific training.
How many physiotherapy sessions will I need?
It depends on the type of problem, how long you have had it and how you respond to treatment. After the first assessment we give you a realistic estimate. We don't sell closed packages without knowing what you need.
Do you work with health insurers?
Not at the moment. We see all patients privately so we can give each case the time it needs and design a plan without the session limits insurers usually impose. We provide an invoice so you can claim reimbursement if your insurer allows it.
Can I cancel or change my appointment?
Yes, no problem. We ask for 24 hours' notice so we can reorganise the diary and offer the slot to another patient.
